Last week, we had beautiful weather here in St. Louis. On one of those days, I just had to trot over to Lafayette Park for a brisk stroll and some dinner.
For those not familiar, this is one of the oldest Victorian parks in the United States. It’s surrounded by the colorful “painted ladies”, the homes built in popular Victorian style. It’s also the place of many steampunk scenes of my Society series books.
As always, the park did not disappoint and continues to inspire. The greenery was intoxicating! My mood relaxed amongst the foliage.
Here’s just a few scenes from around one of my favorite places on earth:
Iwas properly attired for my stroll.
Picked up some delicious empanadas and corn fritters at Mayo Ketchup:
I am next hoping for a good looking storm front to roll through for some good book trailer footage.
As always, thank you for reading,
